The Victoria West comunity is once again preparing for the anual Meals On Wheels.

The event started as a fundraiser for "Huis Frieda Kempen" 7 years ago when a group of locals put a few braais on the back of a truck and drove through town selling donated meat. Since it has grown into one of the highlights of the Victoria West calendar.

This year, we are doing something completely new, a Cattle Spit, or in common tongue "Bees Spit". This will start 00:30 on the Morning of 15 December and will continue till more or less 12:00pm. During and after this there will be motorcycle and quad bike trips throughout the Victoria West district. For more info please mail us at admin@victoriawest.co.za.

Thursday 15 December
09:00 Motorcycle and Quad Bike funrun from Beaufort West to Three Sisters via Wagenaarskraal.
18:00 "Get-together" at Merino Restaurant

Friday 16 December
00:30 "Bees Spit" starts at the "Asbosskerm" (Cash bar available through the night)
08:00 Breakfast at the "Asbosskerm"
09:00 Motorcycle and Quad Bike Trips in the Victoria West district
12:30 The spit is served
18:00 Hangar Party at Victoria West airfield (food and drink available)

Saturday 17 December
08:00 Breakfast at the "Asbosskerm"
